We had a wonderful long weekend of worship and teaching and being taught. The worship which is usually at it's peak on Sat. night, occurred every night and Sun. morning. It was awsome!!!!! We taught small children a tambourine and and a streamer dance. The kids were real troopers and some like 2 years old. Even they did the best they could. The parents and those who run the ministry were blown away by what we were able to accomplish. It was great and fun. Of course, besides teaching the dance, we poured into them about the love of God and some scriptural principals. The big hootanany on Sat. night where team present dances was expecially holy this year. It was like the Lord orchestrated the evening centered around His holiness. We danced to The Revelation Song and forgot our fabric so had to rework the dance (thank you Brianne) to do the fabric part with streamers. Each night we did warfare for our nation, state by state and the world, by continents. It was intense and amazing. We were also called to less compromise and more devotion to God and outreach to the lost. In all of that was forgiveness and moving on. WOW! There was lots of crying and getting right with God, lots of brokenness, lots of authenticness and honesty...no looking good! It was great. We were encouraged by Aunty as she said she believed we were to be a small group because it makes it easier for us to go and do and we are less intimidating in our smallness. But since we are do-ers, the smallness gives us the freedom to act in such one accord. Again, Aunty really validated us infrnt of everyone. We had offered to teach etc. and never heard from her or Pastor Michael. They each thought the other had responded. She was aplogetic and asked if we were still prepared. We said we came ready to teach and sow into their ministry even though we'd hadn't heard. Boy, she loved that. This Christmas we are creating a dance to do at the Methodist church along with 5 volunteers from the church.....most in their 80's! we can not wait.! We told Aunty that we were doing this and she thought it was a gift that we gravitate to the very old and very young which are groups that can get lost. Yes, our hearts are for the left out.
